Candle Care
Before burning.
Before lighting your candle, trim the wick to approximately 5 mm. This helps ensure an even burn, prevents excessive dripping or flaring, and allows the fragrance to spread effectively throughout the room.
During burning.
Place your candle in a safe location. Keep it away from flammable materials such as furniture, curtains, etc. Always keep candles out of reach of children and pets.
While your candle is burning, never leave it unattended or go to sleep with it still lit. To fully enjoy the fragrance, keep windows closed during the first 30 minutes of burning.
After burning.
For safety reasons, avoid burning the candle all the way down and stop when about 10 mm of wax remains. This ensures the glass container does not overheat.
When extinguishing the candle, avoid pouring water on it. Do not touch or move the candle until it has fully cooled down. Store candles in a cool, dark, and dry place, away from direct sunlight. Before reusing your candle, make sure it’s clean, as dust can accumulate easily.
♻️ Reusing the glass. ♻️
To remove the wax from the candle jar, you can melt it in a water bath. Heat it over medium heat, ensuring the water is gently simmering but not boiling. Carefully place the jar with the remaining wax into the pot, ensuring the water reaches the bottom of the jar. Let the wax melt slowly, being careful not to overheat the glass.
Once the wax is melted, pour it into an old container or can, and clean the jar with warm water and soap. Never dispose of candle wax in the household trash or pour it down the drain.
